I think he meant that it's annoying to see GW news in the same place where people post about their cat's urinary issues and Farmville prowess, rather than on the official site or official wiki.

I was just echoing the things I've heard from others about Facebook and Twitter. Personally, I think it's nice that they use them; however, I would like to see more news announced in-game and on the official wiki.

yes, i'd like to see more news on that official wiki
anet has a site, yet they dont use it for side stuff like these

i already find it weak they have no own forums (my opinion), but we never have yet-to-come news on their own official wiki

until then, i guess we gotta watch the forums for their comments/replies/news

i think the survey has no real use, but thats my personal thoughts
as we do the survey, and cant see the official outcome
although some answers may be a bit personal

did anet say we would get to see the outcome anyway? maybe i missed that part, so i'm just asking

tbh i havent read much about it, just that we can share our thoughts, but we do that on forums already

Thanks KJ, that sums up my thoughts pretty well.

I understand that networking sites are all the rage but I have this funny feeling that not everyone that plays GW and also has a FB page have GW and Anet as a "friend" and therefore able to see what is going on.

Again call me oldschool but I'd like announcements in game, on the official wiki (or forum if they had created one), or the GW website/blog (which is where I first found the survey).

i so agree too! i dont wanna have to go to places where i can see who did what or who drank what for gw news. and not everyone uses FB or twitter and shockely (he he) guru too. they get their news from the main page for gw or login screen and sometimes me and other guru users. And i love it we can add a new type of weap to hom but where is the other stuff we asked for hmms? if i cant have the 7 heros least give me new content! >> im even getting bored of rerolling girls. xD
